ValueMan is an accredited Professional Service Organization (PSO) by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) pursuant to SEC Memorandum Circular 2 Series of 2014 which seeks to enhance the reliability and quality of reports on valuation of assets. The SEC recognizes ValueMan as one of the few companies in the Philippines with special competency in the valuation of intangible assets.
ValueMan pioneered the adoption of best practices in the fields of business and intangible asset valuation in the Philippines. ValueMan has made this possible through the introduction of standards espoused by IACVS which promotes the uniform application of valuation theory, approaches, methods and models worldwide. IACVS encourages adoption of professional standards issued by the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) for valuation of business and intangible assets. The standards of IVSC, in conjunction with the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB-US), are required for financial reporting in most countries.
